Water Supply & Quality
Topsoil is very saturated with standing water in fields where there are low areas or pockets. Raven Stream is elevated some and running, not at full bank but water is deeper than I have seen in the last three years of drought consistently. The pond in our pasture has regained some of its depth again but is still about a foot from reaching its flow-over point. Farmers are not able to get in the fields, nor gardeners, and probably won't be able to unless we have at least a week or more of dry weather. Our lawn is growing fairly well now and will need its second cutting if it is dry enough to in less than a week.  View
